Tears for Fears enter a new era with “I Love You But I’m Lost”

Not often do old, classic bands redefine themselves. But Tears for Fears did just that with their new single, “I Love You But I’m Lost”.

The new sound of this song is well beyond where they stood with classics like “Shout” or “Everybody Wants to Rule the World”, songs which most modern musicians and bands likely worship. It closely resembles modern bands like Arcade Fire and The Naked and Famous, or older ones like U2. But it is irresistibly opposed to both.
